Korean pop sensation Rain has made his way to the top of cable music channel Mnet's singles chart with his latest single "Love Song."
The title track from the singer's latest album "BACK TO THE BASIC" bounced up three slots from its previous position to rank the hottest single during the week of April 5 to 11.
Rain's songs "Hip Song" and "One," also from the new release, placed among the top 20 on the chart.
"Magic" by four-member girl group Brown Eyed Girls bowed into the chart in second place, while new tune "Swing" by pop princess Lee Hyori swung its way from the bottom of the list to No. 3.
Meanwhile, Rain's record knocked out two-week winner T-ara to claim the title as the best-selling album last week and new special album "Festa on Ice 2010" featuring songs by Brown Eyed Girls entered the chart at No. 2.
The original soundtrack to MBC TV series "Personal Taste" starring Lee Min-ho and Son Ye-jin made an extraordinary 87-spot jump to third place.
