Lee Min-ho, Kim Bum surprise visit Jung Il-woo fan meeting

Korean heartthrobs Lee Min-ho and Kim Bum made a surprise appearance at actor Jung Il-woo's fan meeting held over the weekend, according to Jung's agency N.O.A Entertainment on Monday.

Lee and Kim, co-stars of last year's smash hit series "Boys Over Flowers" and best friends with Jung, turned up at the meet and greet also held in time with Jung's 23rd birthday.

Korean heartthrob Jung Il-woo will hold a fan meeting on his birthday next month, the first time in two years that the actor will be meeting with his fans.

Jung's agency N.O.A Entertainment said Wednesday that the event will take place at the Broadhall in Seoul on September 5, the weekend prior to Jung's actual birthdate of September 9.

Warnings on ‘Fake Twitter’ in Entertainment Industry

As Twitter becomes more popular, people in the entertainment industry are under stress due to fake Twitters that impersonate star actors and singers.

Actor Jung Il Woo’s agency N.O.A Entertainment delivered the news on July 8, stating, “We have recently searched the list of stars’ Twitters, and found out that a person has opened a fake Twitter account under Jung Il Woo’s name illegally.”

Korean actor Jung Il-woo is the latest celebrity victim to have his online identity stolen by a Twitter impersonator, according to his agency N.O.A Entertainment on Thursday.

N.O.A said in a press release that they have discovered that Jung had a Twitter account opened up by an impersonator, similar to incidents recently reported by actors Lee Min-ho and Kim So-eun.

Both Lee and Kim had warned fans that fake account had been opened up under their names on Twitter, a popular social networking and micro-blogging site, by someone pretending to be them on the Internet.

Jung Il-woo signs with Jeon Do-youn's agency

Korean actor Jung Il-woo has signed with N.O.A. Entertainment which manages some of Korea's top actors including Jeon Do-youn, Ha Jung-woo and Lim Soo-jung.

"Jung Il-woo is someone who has the potential to grow into an actor with his star quality and good acting skills," Mr. Kim Jang-gyun, a director at N.O.A., said on Monday. "We expect him to show many different sides to the public through his acting."

N.O.A. is considered one of the most influential talent agencies in the country, whose pool of artists include actors Ji Jin-hee, Kong Hyo-jin, Lee Chun-hee, Kim Sung-su and Gong Yoo.

Jung, 22, became a household name after appearing in the popular MBC sitcom "High Kick!" (MBC, 2006). He has since starred in several other dramas including "The Return of Iljimae" (MBC, 2009) and "My Fair Lady" (KBS2, 2009) alongside actress Yoon Eun-hye.
