After weeks of hype and speculation, M-net Media has finally unveiled a teaser video of K-pop sensation Lee Hyori’s comeback of her fourth album. Titled “H-Logic”, the video surfaced on Mnet.com and Naver Music at 11 AM on March 29, 2010.
Though the teaser is short, running for a mere 30 seconds, Lee Hyori shows off her typically dynamite style.
Teaser pictures of Lee Hyori had surfaced just a day before, showing off her new platinum blonde hair, a bright yellow and black patterned outfit, and smokey eye makeup. Lee who is known as a fashion and style icon in Korea, was also seen sporting a more casual attire of trendy athletic-wear.
What’s even more noteworthy was the tiger that popped up in the teaser video. According to a source from the music video production team, the tiger was an idea from the pop diva herself. Lee teamed up with music video director Cha Eun-taek for the video of her new title song off the “H-Logic” album. Cha was also the director behind some of Lee’s previous works such as “Animotion”, “You Go Girl”.
So far, the response from the public has been positive. Netizens have been posting up comments such as “What a hit concept!”, “Looks hot”, “That’s so Lee Hyori”.
Lee Hyori’s comeback has been a long time coming! It’s been 22 months since her last album “It’s Hyorish” in 2008. Her brand new album is expected to hit the market April 8th.
Former 2PM leader Jae-beom (a.k.a. Jay Park) has spoken out publicly for the first time since he was kicked out of the group. He has opened a personal channel on Youtube on February 24th and posted a video on March 15th. In the video he asked his fans not to hate 2PM, because they’re good kids. He added that he still loves them all and they’re like friends from his hometown. He also showed off his well-toned body and thanked all the fans, friends, and family members for caring for him. He appeared upbeat and healthy on the video.
Upon seeing the video and some of the clips showing him singing, his fans speculated that Jay may be thinking about resuming his singing career. Some thought that he may be going solo, since no team would take on the burden of including a controversial member and perhaps hurting the team chemistry. Jay has been seen taking part in a b-boy competition and going about his life in Seattle as usual, which has relieved some of his fans who thought that he may be despondent over contract cancellation in February.
The powerful girl group 2NE1's HD "Try to Follow Me" MV has been released.
For 2NE1's new song "Try to follow me" they have revealed another powerful, shocking new MV.
The hip hop song was used for an advertisement in which they appeared in and has an African rhythm that makes your body shake! The song was able to hit number one on various music charts without being even performed live once, and is an example of 2NE1's great popularity.
The MV was produced by the same producer as 2NE1's debut song Fire. The MV displays their various charms and has an African-style dance. It shows that 2NE1 isn't just another girl group that you can simply blow off, with their powerful expressions and overflowing charisma, and of course 2NE1's unique fun accessories and clothing.
In the "Try to Follow Me" MV, another interesting point is that the 2NE1 members, for the first time, made the choreography by themselves.
The 2NE1 members said "For one week, we stayed up late at night to practise. It was a bit tough but since it's the first time doing the choreography ourselves, we put more love into it"
Another interesting event is that this MV is up for download in HD. Since it is now the era of HDtv, YG strived to make it so that watching the MV through HD with clear quality would be more enjoyable.
