SNSD Picks Song Seung Hun As Ideal Type

SNSD, a K-pop idol girl group, selected actor Song Seung Hun as their ideal type of boyfriend during the "Ideal Type World Cup" segment of KBS 2TV's "Sweet Night" that aired on February 7. The decision in this matter was made by a majority vote among the nine members of SNSD.

After announcing that they all have different tastes, the SNSD members began selecting their respective stars that were closest to their ideal type of boyfriend.

SNSD's choice attracted the viewers' attention because the candidates for the "Ideal Type World Cup" included attractive Korean stars such as members of 2PM, Dong Bang Shin Gi, and Super Junior, as well as Lee Seung Gi, Jang Geun-suk, and Song Seung Hun. They started with the candidates' pictures during childhood, which produced a variety of reactions.

Sooyoung said, "Actually, SNSD's favorite changes easily depending on which drama is airing." When Tiffany immediately replied, "Only Sooyoung's does," the audience burst out laughing.

They also said that their favorite male entertainers appeared in their dreams, which showed their girlish side.

Song Seung Hun was selected as SNSD's final choice with 6 votes among the final two: Song and Taecyeon, a member of 2PM.

In a video message to Song, Sooyoung was shy at first, saying, "Hello, Seung Hun 'Oppa,'" literally meaning "brother." She continued, "We are SNSD," and then sang an impromptu song, changing the lyrics to “Oh!,” the title song of SNSD's 2nd Album:

"Oh, oh, oh. We love 'Oppa,'
"The gate of SNSD's dreams will always be open to you.
"Come visit our dreams soon.
"Please give SNSD lots of your love."
