Amerie to visit Korea to promote new CD

American R&B singer Amerie will visit Korea later this month to promote her new CD, according to Universal Music Group on Friday.


Universal Music announced that the international pop star will be arriving in Korea on March 22 to promote the Korean edition of her album "In Love & War."


Amerie recently collaborated with K-pop idol girl group 4minute on her latest single "Heard 'em All" featured in her record which went on sale last month.


During her five day visit, the songstress will make TV appearances and meet with her Korean fans. She also plans to announce her duet with Korean singer Seven for the song "Take Control."


The U.S. singer, who debuted in 2002, has been atop the Billboard Hip-hop/R&B charts multiple times and was nominated for two Grammy awards.
