"Three Brothers" remain atop TV charts for 13th win

KBS2' series "Three Brothers" continued to dominate the TV charts last week to score its 13th consecutive win.

Statistics by TNS Media Korea and AGB Nielsen Media Research on Monday revealed that the weekend drama brought in viewership ratings of 33.5 and 33 percent, respectively, during the week of May 10 to16.

The family series, based on the lives of three brothers, has been climbing the ratings chart since first airing in October 2009.

Meanwhile, MBC's historical epic "Dong Yi - Jewel in the Crown" became the second most-watched show in the country with viewership ratings of 27.2 and 25.6 percent, respectively, on each survey.

Rounding out the top three shows this week was the friendly football match between South Korea vs. Ecuador which recorded ratings of 27.2 percent on TNS' chart and 24.8 percent on AGB's poll.
