Rain to Perform in Japan

Actor and singer Rain (real name Jung Ji Hoon, 28) revealed his feelings about holding his upcoming tour in Japan entitled “Rain Loves Zepp Tour.”

In a press conference held at the Prince Park Tower Tokyo Hotel on June 21, Rain said, “Up until now, my fans have come to see my performances from far away, but this time, I am going to come to see my fans. It is like going out to meet my friends.”

The tour concert, which will be performed in live concert halls for the first time, will begin at Zepp Tokyo from June 22 to June 23, and will keep going in six different cities including Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya, Sendai, and Sapporo. After finishing the tour concerts at the Zepp music halls, he will also hold a major concert at Saitama Super Arena for two days from July 17 to July 18.

Rain said, “If I say that Zepp tours is like having a date with fans to become close to them, the performance to be held at Saitama Super Arena will be an active and splendid performance.”

Rain will release the special album entitled “Back To the Basics,” which showcases his performance highlights over the eight years since his debut, in Japan on June 23.
