Four-member boy band 2AM met with 3,000 fans in Singapore over the weekend, according to agency Big Hit Entertainment on Monday.

Big Hit, producer and promoter of the boys' latest album, announced in a press release that the group was in Singapore on July 10 to promote the release of their album "I Did Wrong" in the country with a showcase held at the Garden Plaza of the IMM shopping mall.

An official related to the showcase in Singapore explained, "Album sales and radio airplay for the song has been increasing since the showcase. The song will soon see good results on music charts."

"I was so surprised to see how the fans in Singapore were singing along passionately to 'I Did Wrong.' We want to have more events in the future for our fans in Asia," 2AM leader Jo Kwon was quoted as saying.

The boys will be returning to Korea later today after attending other promotional events such as guest appearances on TV and radio, press conference, music showcase and an autograph signing session.

2AM, composed also of members Changmin, Seulong and Jinwoon, made their debut in 2008 with the single "This Song." They released their first full-length album "I Can't Let You Go" featuring the title track of the same name in March.
