SHINee to postpone stage comeback date

SHINee member Taemin [SM Entertainment]

SHINee member Minho has suffered an injury to his right leg, forcing his idol group to push back the date they were set to give their comeback performance for their new album, according to their agency on Friday.

SM Entertainment stated through a press release that Minho injured himself during a shoot for KBS' sports entertainment show "Let's Go! Dream Team Season 2" on Wednesday and after receiving a thorough medical checkup, was told to wear a cast due to a ruptured calf muscle on his right leg.

The boys were scheduled to give the performance on KBS' "Music Bank" next Friday, three days prior to the release of their second full-length album, but SM explained they will reschedule it to a later date depending on the progress Minho's recovery.

Meanwhile, SM unveiled another teaser photograph today, this time of Taemin, as part of its plans to promote the band's upcoming album. The youngest member of the group is seen wearing heavy eye make-up for his new image.

SM had announced it will reveal a picture of each member everyday until next Monday, starting with a photo of Minho released yesterday.

Five-man band SHINee made their debut with their first mini-album "Replay" in 2008. The boy band has released one full-length album, one repackaged album and three singles which include their hit songs "Amigo," "Juliette" and "Ring Ding Dong."
