It's been a dry past couple of months for the two biggest MCs in Korea: Yoo Jae-suk and Kang Ho-dong. The two single-handedly dominate most variety programs and are two of the most famous and well-paid television figures. Unfortunately, due to financial difficulties that their company De Chocolate E&TF Entertainment have been going through, they have not been getting paid.
Reports on July 16th revealed that Yoo and Kang have not been getting paid for hosting their various television programs for the past two months! Currently, De Chocolate is suffering a foreclosure given by creditors. In fact, the situation has been so dire that the company even had to stop being a part of the production force behind "Golden Fishery" which Kang Ho-dong is the MC for.?
There's been a lot of talk surrounding the two MCs about their next professional move. Some have speculated that these current conditions serve as enough ground for the entertainers to terminate their current contract with De Chocolate.
