ZE:A to hold showcase in Thailand on July 26

Korean idols ZE:A [Star Empire Entertainment]

Korean idols ZE:A will continue on with their tour in Asia with a showcase in Thailand later in the month, according to their agency Star Empire Entertainment on Tuesday.

Star Empire announced in a press release that the boys will be visiting Thailand for their showcase to be held at Siam Paragon on July 26.

ZE:A will also be touring Taiwan, the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore in mid-August as part of the government-based Korea Creative Content Agency's program which supports idol stars' careers in foreign countries.

Star Empire explained that even though the boys have never visited the Asian countries, they started to become popular after cable reality show "Star Empire," about how the group formed, was broadcast in each country.

"We didn't think that we would begin our overseas activities after such a short time. We would like to thank our fans who have shown their interest and adoration for us," the members of ZE:A were quoted as saying.

ZE:A made their debut last January with their mini-album "Nativity" featuring their title track "Mazeltov." The boy band released a follow-up record in April titled "Leap for Detonation."

The group visited Japan last month to hold several concerts in the country with about 3,000 fans in attendance per show.

They are currently focusing on their music careers in Korea, promoting their third single album "Level Up."
