[KBS] G-Dragon Summoned for Lascivious Performance

▲ G-Dragon performs a passionate concert at the fencing arena of the Olympic Stadium in Seoul on September 27, 2009, which was sponsored by the Ministry of Culture & Tourism under the title of "Wonderful Korea Concert."

G-Dragon (real name Kwon Ji-yong) was summoned and examined for an alleged lascivious performance according to the statement of the Criminal Division I of the Eastern Seoul District Prosecutor´s Office (Chief, Jung Pil-Jae) on February 5.

G-Dragon appeared at the Prosecutor's Office as the accused on February 4, 8:45 P.M. and returned home around 10 P.M. after about one hour of investigation.

The prosecutor interrogated him as to whether he recognized that his performance brought up the image of sex and whether he performed the lascivious performance entirely according to the producer's directions.

The ministry of Health & Welfare requested that the prosecutor investigate whether his controversial performance violated the law, which prohibits R (Restriction of 19+) rated songs from being aired on TV and sold to minors. G-Dragon performed his R rated songs with allegedly obscene choreography during his concert at the Olympic Stadium early last December, which minors attended.

The prosecutor plans to decide whether they will charge him for the performance after a review of legal principles within the following week.
