Hwan Hee: ‘I Want to Compete with Japanese Singers’

Singer Hwan Hee held an inauguration ceremony for his first official fan club in Japan and had a pleasant time with fans.


He held an exclusive live concert -- 'HWANHEE presents-LOVE in Christmas' -- in Tokyo at the end of last year, and this time he held the ceremony entitled “H SOUL Hajimari (beginning)” with fans in Nagano Sun Plaza in Tokyo on April 27. He shared his feelings of excitement and happiness with his fans by starting the fan club. Prior to the ceremony, he spoke about his plans in the press conference, saying, “I have sung for ten years as a singer and from now on, I want to compete with Japanese singers.”

He opened the ceremony by singing the songs “Late Confession“ and “Drunken Truth.” Also, Bae Yong Joon’s personal trainer Im Jong Pil, who is well known as "JP" in Japan, attended the ceremony as a special guest and helped Hwan Hee demonstrate exercises to fans.

Hwan Hee said, “My second album will be released by the end of May or at least by June, and I also have plans to participate in recording the OST for a drama which will air in Japan as well. These days, I am preparing and practicing acting because I will appear in a war movie around this summer.”
