Taeyang

T.O.P. isn't the only Big Bang member seeing major success going solo. After having just been released on July 1st, Taeyang's solo album "Solar" has already sold out its 30,000 circulated copies. Despite the fact that the release date was on a weekday, there were fans waiting in long lines to get their hands on their own deluxe edition of the album.

You can't forget the online sales as well. The album became sold out online almost instantly. In fact there were so many fans trying to log onto the online sales sites that the server went down.

Taeyang's entertainment agency said that the response was similar to that of Big Bang concert tickets going on sale. And though there has been many people contacting them regarding the production of more copies, the agency said that because the original deal was for just the 30,000 copies, there are no such plans at this time.

Several of Taeyang's songs from the new album have also made their way onto the online kpop music charts. Some of these being his title song "I Need a Girl", "Just a Feeling", "Superstar", and "After You Fell Asleep". His first comeback performance was on July 1st on M Countdown and will continue his promotional activities on July 3rd on Show! Music Core, and the 4th on Inkigayo featuring G Dragon.
