miss A and Taeyang continues reign on Mnet charts

Korean girl group miss A and Big Bang member Taeyang continued their reign on Mnet's charts for the second consecutive week.

According to data released by the cable music channel on Tuesday, the girl's debut single "Bad Girl Good Girl" held onto its title as the No. 1 single for the week of July 12 to 18.

miss A, composed of members Fei, Jia, Suzy and Min, were discovered and trained by JYP Entertainment and is managed by the agency's sub-label AQ Entertainment. "Girl" has swept many web-based music charts since its release in early July.

Meanwhile, Son Dambi's latest single "queen" made an incredible 13-spot jump to position itself in second place and climbing up 18-slots to No. 3 was "Bbi Ri Bba Bba" by Brown Eyed Girl member Narsha.

Taeyang stayed on top of Mnet's album chart with his first full-length album "Solar" during the third week of July, and the second album "Blue Brand; Trauma" featuring songs from various artists and the third mini-album “the queen” from Son Dambi maintained their spots at No. 2 and 3, respectively.
