BoA wins on weekend music shows with "Hurricane Venus"

Korean songstress BoA has proven to be an unstoppable force in the music industry, claiming wins on both music programs over the weekend with her latest single "Hurricane Venus."

BoA took the No. 1 spots on both weekend shows, scoring her second consecutive win on KBS' Friday music show "Music Bank" and her first Mutizen award on SBS' Sunday program "Inkigayo."

Korean female idol BoA has revealed a photo of herself drinking with Super Junior member Kyuhyun.

The songstress uploaded the picture on her official Twitter page earlier today, in which both singers are smiling happily while BoA holds up a pitcher of 'makgeolli' which is Korean raw rice wine.

Super Junior member Lee Teuk has written a comment on his official Twitter site which cheers on Korean songstress BoA who has made her comeback to the local music scene for the first time in five years.

Lee Teuk posted a comment on his Twitter webpage (http://twitter.com/special1004) yesterday saying, "International star BoA, whose stardom reaches beyond Asia, has returned!!! Please show her all your love and support!!!"

BoA's 6th album to be sold in 8 Asian countries

Korean pop sensation BoA's sixth full-length album will be released in eight countries in Asia, according to her agency SM Entertainment on Thursday.

SM announced in a press release that the songstress' record "Hurricane Venus," which will go on sale both online and offline in Korea today, will hit music stores in Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong in mid-August. The license for "Venus" will also be sold to the Philippines, Japan, Indonesia and China sequentially.

Korean pop star BoA continues to stir up hype with her upcoming album release this week, her first record in Korea in five years.

According to a press release by agency SM Entertainment on Monday, the singer's sixth album titled "Hurricane Venus," will be released both online and offline on August 5.
